How
to Contribute
The
Journal would appreciate the contribution for publication of your
articles, observations, sketchbooks and finished illutrations for
future issues. Often it si more a case of enthusiasm than trained
craftsmanship, past issues have carried sketches of travellers passing
through areas of interest, notes from students and traders in distant
lands, site records of trained querrids and iscin exploring new places
in the field and humorous illutrations related to the natural history
of Jorune.
Writers:
Articles from 500 to 5,000 words are preferred, although
longer or shorter material will be considered. E-mail submission is
preferred; attache your file in .doc, .rft, .png, .gif or .jpg formats.
Artists:
All manner of illustrations are appropriate for the Journal,
including sketches of interesting persons you have encountered in
your journeys, field drawings of plants, animals, archetectures or
people, individuals or groups. Scans of traditional arts or original
art for scanning in our office are acceptible. If you are available
to illusrtrate according to instructions from other artists or writers,
please submit samples.
Contributors
receive three copies of the issue in which his/her material appears.
Include
your own copyright notice on any material submitted for publication.
Remember – copyright exists at the point of creation, according
to the International Copyright Conention.
Material
mailed must have sufficient return postage and a self-addressed wrapper
to be returned. All material submitted without such return materials
may be disposed of as deemed appropriate.
